There are a number of good viewpoints around Sedona where visitors can enjoy spectacular views of Sedona city, the Verde Valley and the surrounding mountains.  One of these is the Sedona Airport Vista which is located right off the main highway.

Tourists should visit the Airport Vistga in the morning hours and again in the late afternoon to experience a wide range of mountain color. The mountains turn bright orange and red when the sun is low in the sky.
